What’s Happening Here?

Mike has a wonderful presentation of the plot of ULYSSES rendered down into a two minute scenario. This thread can be used to answer questions about actions and events in the book. Confused by who is really speaking? What’s with that bar of soap in Bloom’s pocket? Ask it here and maybe we’ll be able to help you get back to enjoying the novel’s language, it’s poetry without it’s puzzles.

  1. Hi, love this site and the comic version (will probably knock up a review for you at some point)! I just wanted to mention, in case you hadn’t come across it, that Bob Williams has a terrific chapter by chapter explication of Ulysses (Dubliners and A Portrait too) here: http://fracman.home.mchsi.com/

    All the best. Maggie

  2. Thank you very much for your compliments and for taking the time to point us toward such a wonderful reference site. We’re honored. We look forward to hearing more of your thoughts, and we would be doubly honored if you were to see fit to review the project. Thanks again.
